PCIA, APCO Honor Policy-Makers for D Block Bill (2/20/13)
PCIA and the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) will honor several policy-makers for their dedication to saving lives, protecting America’s first responders and building a solid economic future for the nation March 7, marking the one-year anniversary of the passage of The Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012.
Honorees include Reps. Greg Walden and Anna G. Eshoo, chairman and ranking member, respectively, of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. In addition, Anna Gomez, deputy assistant secretary for communications and information and deputy administrator, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), will be recognized.
