Vasek Joins UTC (3/2/10)
Donald Vasek joined the Utilities Telecom Council (UTC) as director of spectrum services. Vasek will manage the frequency coordination and license management services at the organization.
Vasek has more than 20 years of experience in land mobile frequency coordination, with the Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA, NABER at the time) and Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA). He replaces Klaus Bender in this function. Bender will focus on UTC’s engineering services with a concentration on smart grid implementation and standards.
