Forest Service Orders $6.6M in P25 Radios from Relm (2/2/10)

Relm Wireless received a $6.6 million order from the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service. This order is comprised of Relm’s Project 25 (P25) portable and mobile radios, and the order is expected to be fulfilled during the first quarter of 2010.

“For approximately two decades, the USFS has relied on our BK Radio products in wildfire suppression efforts,” said Relm President and CEO David Storey. “Today the USDA Forest Service has approximately 57,000 Relm radios in service.”
